Our client is one of the well-established private national high school has an excellent reputation in the city. The school is currently hiring for a qualified Art teacher to join them in the next academic year. The school offers Cambridge curriculum to students from IGCSE to A-Level aged 15-18 as to enable students meet the world class top universities standard.
 
This school campus is located in the heart of Shanghai within the university area and provide an excellent, safe and quiet learning environment for all student. The school provides well-equipped facilities, including climate control classroom, WiFi and computer in each classroom, learning resources centre, science labs, language lab, multi-purpose hall, gymnasium, basketball court and cafeteria.
 
There are approximately 350 Chinese students and 50 teaching statt in the whole school. Most of the expatriate teachers are mainly from UK and the USA.  All staff are higly trained, professional and with international mindset. The teaching hour consists 40 hour per week 5 days a week and teacher normally get 6-8 weeks holiday per annum.

*Bachelor degree in Fine Art or relevant subject
*Teaching qualification such as PGCE/QTS/Teaching Diploma/License
*Native speaker of English
*Good understanding of the CIE curriculum
*2 years teaching experience
*International teaching experience is beneficial

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience:

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Newly Qualified Teachers are NOT considered
Prefer candidates with international experience
Additional:
**University degree or above in relevant subject area - MUST BE ABOVE 2.1
**Holding a recognized teaching qualification
**Experience in teaching A Level or IBDP

**Committed to the teaching profession

Although we prefer candidates who have relevant working experience in an international teaching and learning environment, especially the experiences of offering well-recognized international program to ESL (English as Second Language) students, opportunities are also given to those who have the academic potential and the willpower to excel in the teaching profession.

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 20000 up to 28000   CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) per month based on experience and qualification, 15-25 % Tax is applied
Housing:
Housing allowance of 5000CNY   CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) provided
Medical:
State/Public medical provided
Flights:
8000.00 (Flight is round-trip air-fare)  CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) Allowance is provided
Bereavement Leave:
Bereavement leave given
Emergency Evacuation:
Emergency evacuation given
Gratuity Amount:
Gratuity Amount of 4 weeks at the end of the 2 year contract is provided
Contract Length:
2 years contract renewable on mutual agreement
