Primary Teacher / Lower Primary Coordinator

An established and expanding international school in Yangon, Myanmar is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced and committed Primary Teacher who could also step into the role of Lower Primary Coordinator.
The school is committed to providing a broad and engaging education, encouraging students to become confident, curious and independent learners. Staff work collaboratively and are encouraged to contribute ideas, share good practice and take an active role in the continued development of the school.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced primary teacher who is looking to combine excellent classroom teaching with a meaningful phase-leadership responsibility.
As a Primary Teacher, you will:
*Plan and deliver engaging, purposeful and age-appropriate learning.
*Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
*Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs.
*Create a positive learning environment where young students feel safe and respected.
*Build strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
*Promote high standards of learning, behaviour and student wellbeing.
*Contribute actively to the wider life of the school.
We are looking for someone who:
*Holds a recognised teaching qualification.
*Has strong experience teaching in a primary school.
*Has excellent classroom management and communication skills.
*Is confident supporting and collaborating with colleagues.
*Has previous leadership experience or the potential to step into a phase-leadership role.
*Is flexible, approachable and committed to working within an international school community.
*Previous experience in an international school and familiarity with an international curriculum would be advantageous.
Salary & benefits:
