The Role
Our client is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1 Class Teacher to join their Key Stage 1 team. The ideal candidate will bring energy, creativity, and a commitment to the well-being and progress of every child.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the English National Curriculum for Key Stage 1.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Support the academic, social, and emotional development of each child.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to ongoing curriculum development.
- Engage positively with parents and participate in the wider life of the school.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent) and QTS.
- Experience teaching in a British or international school setting, ideally in Key Stage 1.
- A child-centred approach to teaching and learning.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility, initiative, and a positive, professional attitude.
