About the School
Now in their sixth year, our client is a growing British international school just outside Seoul, delivering the English National Curriculum to an engaged and diverse student body. The school is committed to academic rigour, creativity, and holistic development in a caring and inclusive community.
As part of their continued expansion, the school is seeking a dedicated and passionate Science Teacher to teach across Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3, with the possibility of extending into Year 9 (early Key Stage 4) as the students progress.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative and forward-thinking teaching team. The successful candidate will inspire a love of science in pupils across the upper Primary and lower Secondary phases, encouraging inquiry, experimentation, and critical thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging science lessons to students in Key Stage 2 and 3 (with potential for Year 9).
- Develop students' scientific knowledge, skills and curiosity through practical and theory-based activities.
- Contribute to curriculum development and cross-curricular initiatives.
- Maintain a safe and well-organised classroom/laboratory environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider life of the school.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
*A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent) and QTS.
*Experience teaching science across Key Stages 2 and/or 3, ideally in a British or international setting.
*Strong subject knowledge across biology, chemistry and physics at the appropriate level.
*A passion for hands-on learning and encouraging scientific inquiry.
*Excellent communication, organisational and classroom management skills.
*Flexibility, initiative, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
