Salary: Up to KYD $36,000 per annum TAX FREE (About £26,000 per anunm)

🧒 Position: Early Childhood Practitioner

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Early Years Practitioner to join our nurturing and dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who loves the outdoors, values child-led learning, and is excited about living and working in a stunning island location.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and deliver high-quality, play-based learning in line with EYFS and CIEYCF.

  2. Supervise and engage children in daily outdoor activities, including animal care, gardening, and farm exploration.

  3. Foster emotional, social, and cognitive development through positive interactions.

  4. Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.

  5. Build strong partnerships with parents and colleagues.

  6. Support the holistic development of each child through creative, child-centered learning experiences.


Candidate Requirements:

We are looking for a kind, committed, and professional individual who embodies our values of respect, curiosity, and care.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  1. CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education (or international equivalent in Early Childhood Education) or above

  2. At least 2 years of experience working with children aged 18 months to 5 years

  3. Thorough understanding of the EYFS framework

  4. Fluent in spoken and written English

  5. Experience or genuine interest in outdoor education and working with animals

  6. Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills

Preferred Attributes:

  1. Experience in a nature-based or forest school setting

  2. Creative thinker who loves messy play, storytelling, and the wonders of child-led learning

  3. A positive, energetic personality with a flexible and proactive approach
