We are seeking a qualified and passionate Early Years Practitioner to join our nurturing and dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who loves the outdoors, values child-led learning, and is excited about living and working in a stunning island location.
Plan and deliver high-quality, play-based learning in line with EYFS and CIEYCF.
Supervise and engage children in daily outdoor activities, including animal care, gardening, and farm exploration.
Foster emotional, social, and cognitive development through positive interactions.
Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.
Build strong partnerships with parents and colleagues.
Support the holistic development of each child through creative, child-centered learning experiences.

CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education (or international equivalent in Early Childhood Education) or above
At least 2 years of experience working with children aged 18 months to 5 years
Thorough understanding of the EYFS framework
Fluent in spoken and written English
Experience or genuine interest in outdoor education and working with animals
Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
Experience in a nature-based or forest school setting
Creative thinker who loves messy play, storytelling, and the wonders of child-led learning
A positive, energetic personality with a flexible and proactive approach
