Location: United Arab Emirates
Start Date: Immediate or by agreement
Salary: AED 7,000/month (tax-free)

About the Role:

A reputable international school in the UAE is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Swimming Coach to join their Physical Education department. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality swimming instruction, ensuring student safety, and helping build a strong competitive swim program.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct engaging and safe swimming lessons for students of all skill levels (beginner to advanced)

  • Develop swimmers' technique, strength, endurance, and water confidence

  • Organize and lead school swim teams for competitions and inter-school meets

  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback

  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed at all times in the pool area

  • Coordinate with PE staff and leadership to support school-wide fitness initiatives

  • Assist in planning and executing school events, swim galas, and sports days

  • Maintain swimming equipment and ensure cleanliness of the pool area


Requirements:

  • Certified Swimming Instructor/Coach (e.g., ASA, STA, AUSTSWIM, or equivalent)

  • 2+ years of experience coaching or teaching swimming in a school or club setting

  • Strong classroom management and motivational skills

  • Knowledge of competitive swimming techniques and training plans

  • First Aid and Lifeguard certification (preferred)

  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude

  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus

  • Based in the UAE or willing to relocate

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 6000 up to 7000  AED (UAE Dirham) per month based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE

Bereavement leave given
Emergency Evacuation:
Emergency evacuation given
Gratuity Amount:
Gratuity Amount of the end of service bonus pay is 3 weeks per annum completed and paid at the end of the contract is provided

2 years contract renewable on mutual agreement
