Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Drama teacher to deliver the IGCSE Drama curriculum and inspire their students to excel in the performing arts.
Key Responsibilities:
*Teach the IGCSE Drama syllabus, incorporating engaging and interactive teaching methods.
*Guide students in exploring theatrical techniques, performance styles, and dramatic texts.
*Organise and direct school productions, workshops, and drama-related events.
*Provide constructive feedback to help students refine their acting and stagecraft skills.
*Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages artistic expression and creativity.
*Collaborate with colleagues to enhance cross-curricular learning opportunities.
Requirements:
*A Bachelor’s degree in Drama, Theatre Studies, Performing Arts, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
*A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
*At least 2+ years of teaching experience in Drama, with experience in delivering the IGCSE syllabus preferred.
*Strong knowledge of theatre production, acting techniques, and stage management.
*Excellent communication and organisational skills.
*A passion for inspiring young learners and fostering their confidence through the performing arts.
