MUST Have Requirements:
 
  • Master's degree in Mathematics or related field
  • Teaching license or qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed, QTS)
  • Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or curriculum development role
  • Experience with the American curriculum is essential
  • Child protection certificate/Safeguarding training

Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Mathematics curriculum framework aligned with the American curriculum standards and educational objectives
  • Lead curriculum review, development, and enhancement initiatives to ensure relevance, rigor, and coherence in Mathematics education
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to provide guidance and support in curriculum planning, assessment, and instructional strategies in Mathematics
  • Coordinate and facilitate curriculum mapping, alignment, and assessment practices across all grade levels
  • Analyze student data and assessment results to inform instructional decision-making and improve student outcomes in Mathematics
  • Provide professional development opportunities and resources to support teachers in implementing effective Mathematics instruction
  • Liaise with external stakeholders, including parents, educational agencies, and accreditation bodies, to ensure compliance with standards and requirements in Mathematics education
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the Mathematics curriculum implementation and recommend adjustments as needed

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelors Degree with a PGCE/PGDE (QTS)
