An established K-12 international school delivering an American-based curriculum in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced School Counselor for an immediate start and August 2024 start date.
As School Counselor, you will provide social-emotional support and academic guidance to students in grades K-12. Counselors play a vital role in fostering student wellbeing and success.
Responsibilities:
Offer one-on-one and group counseling sessions
Guide students on academic issues like subject selection, study habits, exam preparation
Collaborate with teachers and parents to assist struggling students
Develop and deliver guidance lessons on social-emotional learning
Refer students to external services as needed
Advise on university admissions and career pathways for high school students
Requirements to APPLY

Master's degree in Counseling or related field

2+ years experience as a School Counselor

Knowledge of American curriculum and university applications process

Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation abilities
