Salary and Package:
 
**AED 21,000 per month Tax-Free for Experienced Teachers (USD 5,700)
 
**AED 16,000 per month Tax-free for Graduates Teachers (USD 4,400)
 
**NO housing is provided (as the salary is very high)
 
**FREE Medical cover for the teacher
 
**FREE Medical cover for spouse and up to 3 children
 
**FREE visa cover for teacher only
 
**FREE flights for the teacher, spouse and up to 3 children (on entry and exit only)
 
**Gratuity bonus as per UAE labour law

Job Title: Primary (English Teacher)


Job Description: The United Arab Emirates Ministry of Education is leading educational change across the UAE. The Ministry of Education has implemented a Business Studies Curriculum as part of its progressive educational change programme. The Business Curriculum will contribute to the UAE’s vision of preparing students for a better tomorrow by equipping them with the necessary skills for a successful future and effectively supporting them to manage their own educational and personal growth.

The Ministry is investing in Business Study teaching experts to support this initiative and deliver the curriculum. This is an opportunity to join a remarkable team who are raising the standard of education across the UAE and empowering students to realise their full potential.

• Teach and assess competencies in a range of business-related areas
• Develop and share curriculum, teaching methods and resources
• Advise and assist students to develop their educational and career plans. Raise awareness of the facilities and support available
• Perform a range of administrative duties associated with teaching, learning and assessment.
• Ensure the observance of appropriate safety, health, welfare, security and good housekeeping standards
• Ensure the principles of equal opportunity in education and employment are applied to all staff and students, as appropriate in the UAE cultural context
• Provide advice and assistance to students, employers and members of the community and generally promote technical and further education and the Institute
• Be involved in and assist as required within the corporate life of the Institute meeting quality educational standards
• Provide high-quality teaching and learning support to their students to develop industry-related skills and competencies
• Conduct sound competency-based assessment within the business-related discipline.
• Provide administrative, promotional and other support to ensure the effective functioning of the Institute

 
 
 
 
Job requirements: Candidates must meet at least one of the required criteria options below.


Required

• Degree (preferably at Masters Level) in Business, Marketing or Accounting 
• Teaching and/or recognized assessor qualification (eg PGCE, Cert.Ed. A and V awards)

 
Desirable

• CELTA
• DELTA (TEFL Q status)
• MA TEFL
• M.Ed

 
Language:
Excellent oral and written English is essential. The following proficiency certificates are accepted and should be presented before the interview.

• IELTS 7 Academic / 7.5 General (with a minimum of 6.5 in each skill)
• Cambridge CAE (C1)
• Cambridge CPE (C2)
• EmSAT minimum of 1625
