SeekTeachers is seeking an experienced and dedicated Geography teacher to be based in the beautiful tropical Malaysia. The school provides educational service for students from nursery to year 13 following the UK national curriculum. The school is run by a local organisation and have branches across Malaysia therefore you will be given plenty of opportunities once you join them.
The school has beautiful green surrounding and set on 8 acres of land with plenty of space. The school has 3 large 5 storey buildings being used as the school primary block, secondary block and dormitory. Other facilities include air-conditioned classrooms, science labs, computer labs, design and technology studio, music studio, art room, language studio and canteen. Outdoor facilities such as tennis court, football field, basketball court, swimming pool and large playing field are also well equipped.
There are currently over 800 students enrolled in the school aged between 3-18 year. The students consist of 90% local students and 10% expatriates. The school staffs are made up of 60% expatriates from the UK, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand while the remaining 40% are non-expatriates.
Minimum requirements:
- Degree in Geography/relevant subject
- Teaching qualification such as PGCE/QTS/Teaching license
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience
- English native speaker
- Good understanding of the UK curriculum
