SeekTeachers is recruiting for a well-established school located in the heart of Qatar, Doha. This school delivers the UK National curriculum of England and Wales to students aged 3-18. The school has mainly Qatari students from affluent families as well as students from expatriate families. The number of expatriates is growing immensely in Qatar and this region has already started making changes towards the FiFA world cup. If you though Dubai is good, you haven't seen anything yet.
Duties will include:
**Teaching Key stage 3, 4 and 5 Geography
**Creating resources for your Geography lessons
**Use different teaching styles to cater for your students
**Understand and apply effective classroom management
**Target and support students with individual needs
**Effectively plan and set homework that is attainable
**Use performance data to evaluate students’ performance and set work accordingly
**Be a form tutor and be involved in pastoral duties with your form class
**Promote the general well-being of your form class
**Inspire trust and confidence in your students and colleagues
**Attend parent’s evenings and give feedback to students
**Assist in after school clubs and events
**Be prepared to go on training and INSET's when needed
The school has some very good resources and is looking to expand with the use of technology in the campus. There are projectors and interactive whiteboards in the school, with an assembly hall, theatre hall, media room, outdoor sports fields, a indoor swimming pool
