The school is putting a lot of emphasis on using raising its use of technology in the classroom so if you have experience of using an interactive whiteboard, a VLE and also Apple iPad's in the classroom it will benefit your application.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
**Teaching Business Studies at A' level or IBDP level
**Getting students to understand the importance of Business Studies in today's world and economy
**Adapting lessons to meet the needs of your students
**Run after school clubs to promote the learning of Business Studies
**Work with outside organisations to also make learning Business Studies relative, fun and engaging
**Attending department meetings
**Keeping an up to date record of students work and attendance
**Being up to date with modern teaching styles
**Keeping up to date with the A level and IBDP curriculum
**Be prepared to go on further training if required
**Setting homework and assessing students
**Teaching to cover visual, audio and kinaesthetic learners
**Be a good role model
We ideally are looking for someone that can also deliver either business studies or ICT. The main focus will be economics.

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Newly Qualified Teachers are NOT considered
Prefer candidates with international experience
Open University qualification(s) are NOT accepted
Additional:
**Ideally the degree should be in Business Studies
**You MUST have a teaching qualification in Business Studies
**Experience of working in Dubai or the UAE is preferred
**Experience of working in an Islamic environment/students is beneficial for you
**If you can offer a secondary subject, this would help your application
**Single candidates with no children are preferred
Remuneration Package
Salary Range:
A salary from 9000 up to 11,800
AED (UAE Dirham) per month
based on experience and qualification,
