Our client is currently recruiting a professional and experienced Human Resource Manager to join the expanding team. This is an immediately start position for an international school based in Malaysia.
 
Job Description

• Work closely with Head of School and senior managers, provide expert guidance, coaching and support on the full range of HR activities
• Keep up to date with legal developments and advise management on compliance and risk factors
• Provide advice and guidance on employment legislation
• Develop, implement and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure effective, fair and consistent management of staff throughout the whole school
• Ensure that all staff are aware of policies and procedures
• Review and manage new staff and leaver processes
• Organise and participate in HR meetings
• Screening candidate and ensure each documents meet the criteria of the school and ministry
• Assist in expat candidates to migrate 

This private international school is located only 20 minutes away from Kuala Lumpur international airport and 15 minutes away from the Formula One racing circuit. The school is surrounding with a green leafy environment and security gate at the entrance, which provides students a clean, quiet and safe learning environment. The school has a large campus with excellent and modern facilities include air conditioned classrooms, interactive whiteboards, library, ICT labs, science labs, art & design room, music room, gymnasium, multi-purpose hall, basketball courts, tennis courts, football fields, swimming pool, medical room, prayer rooms and cafeteria.
 
There are 500 students composed of 20% expatriate students and 80% non-expatriate students. Students are discipline and very keen to learn. There are 50 staff in the school mixed with 80% composed of expatriates and 20% non-expatriates. All expatriate teachers are well-trained with UK experience too.
 
This school follows British National Curriculum for students from Year 1 to Year 11 aged 5-16. Professional development is provided to ensure all staff success and promote high quality of learning.  Teaching hour consists of 30 hours a week Monday to Friday and teachers can normally get 6-8 weeks holiday per annum.
