Our prestigious private schools are looking for a qualified and experienced SENCO teachers  to join them in August 2017. The schools are based out in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Mohammed Bin Zayed City, Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah with over 9200 students currently registered together.  They use an American based high school diploma model for students to earn their high school diploma in all their campuses The campuses prepare students to compete in an international marketplace where academic content is important but it is not enough. In this environment skills matter and determine the relative success of the individual in society. Inquiry, critical thinking, and international mindedness are essential skill sets that students must have to be successful as a leader and in the workforce. Their students see how school connects with the world at large. The schools believe that students identified as having special education needs shall: participate as appropriate in available educational opportunities; progress and achieve an age-appropriate accredited education; be prepared to make positive contributions to the local and wider community; develop and maintain physical, mental and emotional health and achieve economic well-being through access and participation in educational and vocational opportunities beyond formal schooling.
 
Requirements to apply
 
**NASENCO Qualification (National Award for SENCO
**Degree in SEN + 4 years’ experience)
**NASENCO PG Cert (National Award for SEN Coordinators Post Graduate Certificate)
**PGDP in SEN, Med SEN Specialism, MA in Educational Psychology also would be considered
**MUST be western trained from a recognized university
**MUST be a native speaker of English
**Able to use technology in the classroom
**Able to adjust to the teaching and cultural customs in the UAE
**Plans and prepares for classroom instruction
