SeekTeachers is URGENTLY seeking for a Library Manager on behalf of our client in Zambia. The position is permanent and to be based in Lusaka.
The school is looking for someone dynamic and innovative to provide ideas to develop the library better.
Requirements to apply:
**Degree in Library Studies or Management
**Master in in Library studies
**Ideally 5 years Library management experience
**Native speaker of English
**Western qualified and trained
This is an excellent school that is growing in reputation and has out-performed standards in the UK. The school has more international students than national students and teachers are also trained from the west.
Salary Package
**Paying up to $2600 per month AFTER TAX

**Baggage allowance up to £1250 at the end of the contract from Zambia to destination

**Resigning bonus of £1300
**FREE annual flights after you have resigned your contract
**10% gratuity bonus on the gross salary at the end of the 2 year contract
**A 2 year contract that is renewable on mutual agreement
You need to be someone that knows about how to setup and operate a library and use your initiate to really get the best from the resources you have. The Library will become a key area as the school will take on more expatriate staff to ensure that teaching and learning also uses the Library as a key resources and study area to develop teaching and learning.
You need to be well organised and able to promote new facilities to the school and students as well as ensure that your library is clean and organised.
