SeekTeachers is currently seeking for a Director of Centre of American Education to join our client in Malaysia. Our client is an university located in the tropical Malaysia. Set in over 80 acres if landscaped, the campus is located approximately 45 mins away from Kuala Lumpur city centre with excellent range of facilities.
Duties and responsibilities:
**Develop the centre's growth strategy to be in line with the university's strategic plans
**Provide high level academic leadership and guidance to staff of the Centre and to support the University's vision in meeting students targets
**Achieve student enrolment numbers
**Lead promotional activities for the centre
**Lead new program and curriculum development
**Conduct review of existing programs
**Recruit qualified academic staff
**Manage staff performance and development
**Monitor and maintain quality of academic programme teaching and learning processes, quality standards set by the Universities and partner universities
Requirements to apply:
- A doctorate in any field
- Graduates from North American universities
- Strong academic leadership qualities with business acumen and financial management
- Proven track records in academic excellence
- Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience complementing teaching experience in tertiary education
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to develop and maintain effective working relationship across diverse groups
