On behalf of our client, a prestigious private Post 16 school, we are currently recruiting an enthusiastic and confident Art teacher who can deliver up to A-Level based in Shanghai China.
 
The successful candidate must have a good degree in Fine Art (Grade 2.1 and above), teaching qualification is essential (PGCE/ PGDE/ QTS/ GDT/ Teaching License), minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Art up to A-Level or equivalent, international experience is beneficial, English native speaker only.
 
This is one of the TOP private Post 16 school in the city follows Cambridge International Examination (CIE), every year over half of the students from this school receive offers from global leading universities include Oxford, Cambridge, UCL, MIT, Harvard, Stanford, etc.  There are 400 local Chinese students in total from Year 10 to Year 13 aged 15-18 and there are 45 staff consist of 60% expatriate teachers and 40% non-expatriate teachers. 
 
The school has a modern and secure gated campus in the Shanghai city, the facilities in the school include library, science labs, ICT lab, art & design room, music room, multi-purposed hall, gymnasium, tennis court, basketball courts, football field, running tracks, canteen and dormitory (off-site).

Qualification:

Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted

Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 18,000 up to 28,000  CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) per month based on experience and qualification, 10-25 % Tax is applied
Housing:
Housing allowance of 5000RMB  CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) provided
Medical:
State/Public medical provided
Flights:
8,000RMB  CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) Allowance is provided
Bereavement Leave:
Bereavement leave given
Emergency Evacuation:

Contract Length:
2 years contract renewable on mutual agreement
