We are urgently looking for Key Stage 2 teachers that are able to fly out in the next week or 2 to teach in a British International School located in the richest country in the world...Qatar.
The school is a well known and established school with many expat British teachers who have QTS. The school are looking for someone who is able to hit the ground running and is able to adapt to the working climate in the Middle East. If you already have experience in the GCC area this will be advantageous.
Upper Primary Job Description:
**Plan and prepare daily lessons plans as per the UKNC for your students
**Work closely with a TA if necessary
**Have good classroom management skills
**Be able to deliver well differentiated lessons to meet the needs of your students
**Carry a consistent level of assessment to review if your students are on track as per their target and goal
**Set homework that is meaningful and attainable and ensure your are assessing this homework
**Plan after school activities
**Attend department meetings
**Contribute to staff meetings when needed
**Be able to plan and take part in school trips
**Display and promote your students work to show when good learning has take place
**Have good knowledge of Jolly Phonics
**Be able to meet and greet with parents and give them verbal feedback during Parents evening
**Be culturally aware of your students needs
