We’re seeking a warm, dedicated Homeroom Teacher to join our Grade 2 team at a reputable international school in Kuwait. This role is perfect for teachers who enjoy fostering both the academic and personal growth of young learners in a positive, student-centered classroom.
Position Summary
As a Grade 2 Homeroom Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
Delivering engaging lessons in core subjects: English, Math, Science & Social Studies
Establishing a friendly, inclusive, and structured learning environment
Monitoring progress and providing meaningful, ongoing feedback
Maintaining strong communication with families and collaborating with the school team
Participating in events, activities, and continuous professional development
Who We’re Looking For
Essential Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education or a related field
Valid teaching license/certification (required)
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, ideally in a homeroom or lower primary role
Fluent English speaker
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Willingness to relocate and adapt to life in Kuwait
Preferred:
Experience with international or British curriculum schools
Familiarity with the UK National Curriculum
First Aid/CPR certification
