Key Responsibilities
*Teach high school Environmental Systems & Societies, including IB-style or equivalent courses, depending on experience.
*Deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons that integrate scientific, environmental, and social perspectives.
*Guide students in fieldwork, research projects, and data analysis that promote real-world understanding of sustainability issues.
*Contribute to curriculum development within the Science and Humanities departments, supporting interdisciplinary connections.
*Engage in whole-school environmental initiatives, sustainability projects, or student-led eco clubs.
*Serve as a homeroom advisor and participate fully in the school’s pastoral care programme.
*Maintain strong communication with students, families, and colleagues to support a positive learning environment.
Qualifications & Experience
*Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, Earth Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
*Valid teaching qualification/certification.
*Experience teaching IB ESS or other IB science subjects strongly preferred.
*Understanding of scientific inquiry, field research, and environmental systems thinking.
