On behalf of a prestigious international school in the UAE, we are recruiting a seasoned HR Manager to lead and oversee all human resource operations across academic and non-academic departments. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the school’s growth, fostering a positive work culture, and ensuring compliance with local labour regulations and school policies.
Lead and manage end-to-end HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll, and performance management
Oversee teacher and staff recruitment cycles in coordination with school leadership
Maintain up-to-date staff records in line with KHDA/MOE or relevant regulatory standards
Advise management on HR policies, UAE labour law, and best practices
Implement and monitor staff performance review systems and professional development plans
Handle conflict resolution and disciplinary procedures fairly and in compliance with policy
Coordinate visa processing, medicals, and onboarding for international hires
Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture through engagement and wellness initiatives
Liaise with finance on payroll, benefits administration, and HR budgeting
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s or HR certifications such as CIPD preferred)
Minimum 5 years of HR experience, including 2+ years in a managerial role, preferably within an education or school setting
In-depth knowledge of UAE Labour Law and HR compliance standards
Proven ability to manage confidential data with integrity and discretion
Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Experience in managing diverse, multicultural teams
Familiarity with HR software and school management systems is a plus
