MUST Have Requirements:
 
  • Bachelor's degree in Science or related field
  • Teaching license or qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed, QTS)
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in Science
  • Experience with the American curriculum is preferred
  • Child protection certificate/Safeguarding training

Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Develop and deliver engaging and interactive Science lessons that cater to diverse learning needs
  • Foster a hands-on and inquiry-based approach to learning, encouraging students to explore and experiment
  • Use a variety of instructional strategies and resources to enhance student understanding and application of scientific concepts
  • Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to support their growth and development
  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cross-curricular connections and promote interdisciplinary learning
  • Support extracurricular activities and initiatives related to Science education
  • Establish positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive learning community
