We are urgently seeking an experienced and professional KS1 teacher on behalf of our client in Cairo.
This is a relatively young school that follows the English National Curriculum from Early Years to Senior School. By concentrating upon educating and developing the whole child, the school builds character, confidence, and social competence.
An ideal candidate should have:
** Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
**Undergraduate degree in related field plus appropriate post-graduate educational qualifications (teaching certificate, Master’s degree etc.)
**Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in schools
**Proven track-record of appropriate professional development
**Knowledge and understanding of the development of children between the ages of 5-7
**Knowledge and experience of assessment procedures, moderation and evaluation at KS1 of the English National Curriculum
The class teacher will:
**Share the responsibility for the planning, teaching and assessments of the subjects to which they have been assigned by the school.
**Be required to carry out other such duties as the Head may reasonably direct from time to time.
**Display the highest standards of professionalism in their teaching and in their relationships with their colleagues and the wider School community.
