IB PYP Teacher | August 2023 Start | Lower Primary Teacher | Upper Primary Teacher

I am seeking qualified and experienced PYP Teachers to join my client in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging and challenging inquiry-based learning experiences that promote students' academic and personal growth.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement inquiry-based lesson plans and curriculum that align with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) standards and requirements.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes students' social and emotional development.
  • Use formative and summative assessments to evaluate students' progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs.
  • Use technology and other resources to enhance students' learning experience.
  • Participate in school-wide events and activities and contribute to the school community.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Teaching certification or license.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience teaching the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP).
  • Strong knowledge of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) standards and requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Familiarity with the use of technology and other resources to enhance students' learning experience.
Salary Package & Benefits:
  • Salary range, dependent upon years of experience and qualification: AED 12,100 to 15,675 per month

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Newly Qualified Teachers are NOT considered
Prefer candidates with international experience
Additional:
**Experience of the IB Curriculum is beneficial but not essential as training will be given
**Experience of USA Curriculum such as American Harcourt, AP and Common Core is highly valued
**It will be beneficial to your application if you have experience of working in the Middle East or with non-native speakers of English

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 12375 up to 16,200  AED (UAE Dirham) per month based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE

Based on application  fully furnished Housing provided

Flight(s) provided annual flights for the teacher only
Utility Bills:
500AED per month
Baggage Allowance:
up to 500 USD on actual reciept

Gratuity Amount:
Gratuity Amount of 1 month bonus pay for each year accrued is provided

**Tuition is provided for 2 children aged 3-18 years of age
