SeekTeachers is URGENTLY seeking a bilingual Kindergarten Principal to join our client in Beijing. The Early Years school was founded in 2017 and is committed to fusing the essence of Chinese and leading international teaching methods. It was established to provide an international education for the expat community as well we Chinese nationals.
The school will be fully operated in August 2018 and adopt the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Year Program. The duties of the role will include:
**Provide visionary leadership for the kindergarten (3-6 years old) in alignment with the school’s mission, philosophy, strategic plan and goals.
**Develop the leadership capacity of the kindergarten faculty based on teamwork and collaborative decision-making.
**Strengthen the school’s foundations of academic rigour within a warm and caring environment.
**Maintain and develop the distinctive student-centered culture.
**Enhance personalized learning throughout the kindergarten based on appropriate challenge, empowerment and support for all students.
**Lead school in the IB PYP authorization process.
Requirements to apply:
**A proven record of outstanding leadership experience at a senior level. Work experience in IB PYP schools is preferred
**A graduate degree in education or relevant fields
**Familiar with differentiating teaching techniques, such as Inquiry-based, activity-based and hands-on learning
**Working knowledge of the IB PYP
**Using the local context and environment to enhance learning.
**Multi-cultural approach or experiences.
**Experience/training in child psychology.
