This is an international school located in the capital city of Egypt and delivers both the British and IBDP curriculum to its students from Foundation Stage to Grade 13. The school has over 1,000 students at present aged between 3 and 18.
 
This is located approximately 30 mins away from the airport and has a quiet and clean surroundings. The teaching staff are all qualified and experienced teachers coming from UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and USA.
 
As an ICT teacher, you would require to:
 
**Plan, prepare and deliver effective learning and teaching programs
**Ensure the teaching material and resources are up-to-date
**Set challenges and tasks for students according to their abilities
**Monitor students learning development and progress and report to the head of department appropriately
**Coordinate the preparation of all test and mark schemes in Economics
**Build a good relationship with parents and ensure they are aware of their children progress
**Liaise closely with the Head of Department on all matters relating to Economics
**Ensure students are involved in the lesson

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience:
3 Years
Type of Staff:
Male or Female can apply to this job
Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary up to 18,000  GBP (British Pound) per annum based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE
Housing:
Housing allowance of 4,000 EGP  GBP (British Pound) provided
Medical:
State/Public medical provided
Flights:
Flight(s) provided
Bereavement Leave:
Bereavement leave given
Emergency Evacuation:
Emergency evacuation given
Contract Length:
2 years contract renewable on mutual agreement
Additional information:
