We are looking for someone that has a good career path and stable history on their CV. The campus is located in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. It is located about 20 minutes drive from the centre of Al Ain. This is one of the most established schools in the region and is governed by the Abu Dhabi Education Council.
 
Most of the students are Emirati but teachers are western trained and native speakers of English.  The school has a moderate level of resources and in the PE department you will have access to an indoor swimming pool, outdoor tennis courts, indoor sports hall and gymnasium.  If you are looking to teach in the UAE, you need to be a teacher that can motivate female students to take part in physical activities. Culturally, female students are less likely to be engaged in sports so we are looking for someone that can inspire students of the important of doing physical education.
 
Job Description:
**Plan effective PE lessons to female students as per the IB MYP curriculum
**Differentiate lesson to meet the needs of  your students
**Formatively and summatively assess students and provide them feedback
**Be strong about teaching the theory of physical education including elements of Biology and Mathematics.
**Use ICT effectively to teach physical education
**Participate in sports day
**Take part in extra curricular activities
**Take initiative to setup after school sports clubs
**Report to the Head of PE
**Work closely with outside organisations and schools to create competitions and events
**Be a good role model to female students
**Have good classroom management skills
**Be a good team player but also be able to work effectively on your own **Have knowledge of IB learner profiles
 
Initial interviews will be done over Skype and if you are shortlisted there may be a second interview. Candidates that have experience of the USA Common Core standards will be preferred as the school is using this curriculum in-line with the IB MYP programme.
