International school in Zambia
The school delivers the English curriculum to all students. The student’s ages vary between 3 up to 18. The school has an amazing support team and management team to help and assist you with any issues you may be occurring. Currently the school has a total of 550 students split up of around 39 different nationalities. The majority is Zambian but around 40% of the students are international. The school offers the children a chance to gain attributes that they can use to travel around the world and experience different cultures.
 
School facilities
The school has very limited facilities but has improved in recent years. Some of the classrooms have interactive whiteboards and all have the relevant teaching and learning resources. The school has two very large ICT rooms that have a total of 40 computers in each. All software is updated on a regular basis to ensure that the students are up to date with the technology.
 
The management want to make sure that the students are all fit and healthy so have out a large investment into facilities for the students to enhance their physical abilities. The school has a large sports hall with numerous amounts of indoor sports facilities. The school also has a very large school hall with 2 small football fields and a running course. The children also have a new basketball court to practise on and play against friends.
 
Teacher’s duties:
**Applicants should ensure they are active and energetic to provide the children with a productive role model
**All lessons should be planned well before execution and should be engaging for all students and to also have clear objectives
**All students should know their predicted grades and also how to achieve them
**An assessment should always be performed with the students so you have clear evidence of improvement made by each student
**Homework and examinations should be set on a regular basis
**Challenging tasks should be set for the children so that they are all engaged in the lessons
