PYP Teaching job in China | Established IB school | August 2015 start
 
An experienced and committed Grade 3 teacher is needed for an established international school in the beautiful Suzhou, China.
 
This international school delivers the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum to students from Kindergarten to Grade 12, using the IB Primary Years Programme, MYP (Middle Years Programme) and DP (Diploma Programme).
 
An ideal candidate should have the following:
 
- Bachelor degree in Primary Education or relevant subject
- Teaching qualification such as PGCE/QTS/Teaching Diploma/License
- English native speaker
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience
- ESL/International teaching experience is beneficial
- IB experience is preferable but not essential
 
This international school has about 1,000 children with over 25 different nationalities. Children are hardworking and keen to learn. There number of teaching staff is 110 with 80% expatriates and 20% non-expatriates. All teaching staff are qualified teachers and English speakers.

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 18,000 up to 23,000  CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) per month based on experience and qualification, 10-25 % Tax is applied
Housing:
Housing allowance of 4,000RMB  CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) provided
Medical:
State/Public medical provided
Flights:
10,000RMB p.a CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) Allowance is provided
Bereavement Leave:
Bereavement leave given
Emergency Evacuation:
Emergency evacuation given
Contract Length:
2 years contract renewable on mutual agreement
