Head of Secondary | Dubai | TAX FREE salary
Our client is a medium size school in Dubai looking for an experienced Head of Secondary to start August 2015. We are looking someone that has a proven track record of raising standards in education, troubleshooting and getting the very best from your team.
This school delivers the UK curriculum of England and Wales with about 1200 students on roll. The school mainly employs teachers from the UK and Ireland and is looking to achieve higher in the next KHDA inspection. In the last inspection the school was rated satisfactory with some aspects of good. It is pushing to become a good school in Dubai.
Based on the outskirts, the Director recently invested in refurbishing the school and so all classrooms have projectors in them and it has been modernised.
We are looking for a Head of Secondary that will develop consistency in the Secondary Team. You will work closely with the Head of KG, Head of Primary as well as the Principal of the school.
Requirements:
**Have a degree with a PGCE in Secondary
**Ideally an M.Ed or NPQH
**Sound experience of the UKNC, at least 3-5 years in management
**Have an excellent command of written and spoken English
**Experience of working in the Middle East is beneficial
**Be an excellent communicator and role model for your staff
**Must be western trained
The role is to start in August but interviews will be done on Skype and shortlisted candidates may be asked to attend an interview in Dubai in person.
