Ib mathematics teacher Abu Dhabi | teach in the UAE | teach in Abu Dhabi
 
I am looking for an IB experienced mathematics teacher that is available to start August 2015. We are looking for some that promotes an enquiry based learning model and uses cross collaborative teaching skills to enhance teaching and learning. We are looking for a teacher that ideally has experience of teaching in the Middle East and with the IB MYP or IB DP programme.
 
If you do not have experience of the international baccalaureate curriculum the school does provide professional development for you to further gain experience. In addition to this curriculum the school delivers the USA common core curriculum.
 
What do you need to apply?
**Degree must be in mathematics
**Must have a teaching qualification or license
**Must have at least 2 years teaching experience
**Have an excellent command of written and spoken English
**Be up to date with modern teaching methods to promote a student centred approach
 
As a teacher of mathematics you will need to be strong in calculus , algebra , geometry, pre-calculus and statistics. The students are mainly Emirati and so English would be the second language in that teaching is done. You will need to have a good level of patience for students to work at the level you require

**Experience of the IB Curriculum is beneficial but not essential as training will be given
**Be willing to attend IB workshops and training

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 12000 up to 14800   AED (UAE Dirham) per month based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE

Flight(s) provided only for employee
Utility Bills:
500AED per month
Baggage Allowance:
up to 500 USD on actual reciept
