**Early Years PYP Coordinator**
**Teach in Singapore**
**January 2015 start**
An established international kindergarten in Singapore is URGENTLY recruiting for a PYP coordinator to join them in January 2015. This kindergarten adopts the International Baccalaureate (IB) PYP curriculum and caters for children aged 2 to 6.
The kindergarten has over 300 children at present with over 15 different nationalities. The teaching staff are all qualified teachers coming from the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and USA.
The kindergarten offers a competitve salary package including basic salary with housing allowance, medical insurance, working visa, shipping allowance, flight, Chinese and Western holiday and bonus upon completion of bonus.
Duties and responsibilities:
*To coordinate all IB PYP activities of the school
*To ensure that the school meets all IBO regulations and deadlines
*To maintain communication with the Head of School, Principal , administration, department an parents regarding information about the program
*To attend all relevant meetings
*To ensure regular monitoring of students’ progress in the IB subjects and record their progress
*To monitor assessment and reporting in cooperation with primary coordinators
*To support teachers in the development of assessment tools in line with school’s policy on assessment
*To attend workshops and conferences if necessary
*To mentor and model good inquiry practice in the classrooms
*To maintain communication with staff especially in relation to curriculum matters
