There are 900 students aged 3-18 enrolled to the school in 2012-2013 composed of 60% expatriate students and 40% non-expatriate students. There are also 100 staff mixed of 90% composed of expatriates and 10% non-expatriates.
Job description
*To coordinate all IB PYP activities of the school
*To ensure that the school meets all IBO regulations and deadlines
*To maintain communication with the Head of School, Principal , administration, department an parents regarding information about the program
*To attend all relevant meetings
*To ensure regular monitoring of students’ progress in the IB subjects and record their progress
*To monitor assessment and reporting in cooperation with primary coordinators
*To support teachers in the development of assessment tools in line with school’s policy on assessment
*To attend workshops and conferences if necessary
*To mentor and model good inquiry practice in the classrooms
*To maintain communication with staff especially in relation to curriculum matters
*To provide IB PYP training for staff members.
