The International School of Moscow is urgently seeking fully-qualified and highly experienced coordinators of Learning Support to help support the entire school. Successful candidates will have a proven track record of developing and/or leading Special Educational Needs programs in their current or previous position(s) and will take place in non-classroom based learning, allowing for efficient and effective support to be given and developed for targeted students across the whole school. 

Duties will include working with individual students as well as small groups, of course this means that candidates will be expected to work alongside other teachers and to create IEPs, develop links with outside support agencies and making every effort to ensure that an efficient learning support protocol and procedures are set and followed throughout the school. As a result, previous experience and understanding of teaching in an EAL environment are necessary in order to cater to the school’s needs. 

It is also probable that becoming involved in developing a Gifted and Talented learning program could be a future endeavour. So if you are excited at the thought of working in a culturally diverse school in an incredibly dynamic city, we hope to receive your application soon. 
 
Requirements
  • UK trained and/or have relevant UK curriculum experience.
  • Excellent ICT skills, good IWB knowledge. 
  • An interest in embedding ICT into daily classroom experience.

  • Committed to repeated improvement of an already strong and varied curriculum.
  • Enthusiastic, demonstrating a positive approach to students.
