SeekTeachers is holding recruitment fair for a school in Dubai coming to London and screening candidates. We are looking for teachers of SEN to join this excellent and growing school.
 
Please apply if you have:
**A bachelor's degree in Special Needs Education (MANDATORY)
**A PGCE in Special Needs holding QTS
**Experience of the UK National Curriculum or the IB framework
**A high command of written and spoken English
**Have qualifications from western establishments
**Have experience of integrating technology within your SEN teaching
 
If you have experience of teaching SEN in the Middle East already this will be beneficial. Single candidates or teaching couples with no children are preferred due to the accommodation provided. The Principal is from the UK but has extensive experience of making GOOD schools turn OUTSTANDING!

We are looking for teachers that are committed and show that have stable work experience. More and more schools, especially in Dubai do not like teachers that have done too much supply or have moved around a lot. Consistency is the key here and so only teachers showing they are looking for a long term stable teaching job in the Middle East should apply.
 
SEN Job Description:
**Create and plan IEP on students
**Coordinate closely with the SENCO
**Attend and contribute to department meetings
**Be a good team player and work well on your own initiative
**Track and monitor students to update the child's IEP accordingly
**Teach individuals or groups of small students in the classroom or externally
**Using special needs equipment and facilities, such as audio-visual materials, computers to stimulate interest in learning
**Using specialist skills and technology to raise the performance of students
**Have excellent behaviour management skills
**Attending INSET's when needed
**Assisting in severally disabled pupils personal care and medical needs
**Assessing students that have short and long term learning difficulties
**work closely with other teaching professionals to help develop students ability
 
This is an exciting role if you have experience of working in the GCC or are looking to teach in Dubai for the first time.

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary up to 12000  AED (UAE Dirham) per month based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE
Housing:
Based on application  fully furnished Housing provided
Medical:
State/Public medical provided
Flights:
Flight(s) provided annual flights coming in and end of contract
Utility Bills:
50% covered
Bereavement Leave:
Bereavement leave given
Gratuity Amount:
Gratuity Amount of 21 days for each year complete is provided
Contract Length:
2 years contract renewable on mutual agreement
Additional information:
**Discount on tuition fees 50% for single teacher. For teaching couples it will be 100% for up to 2 children
**Long term disability covered up to 75% for a period of 4 months (upon medical documentation and evidence)
**In the case of a bereavement leave up to 5 working days covered
**Settling in allowance of 2000AED (about £340)
