An International school is recruiting a creative and professional Physics teacher to join their team based in Malaysia. You must be a qualified English native speaker Physics teacher with a degree in Physics and minimum of 3 years teaching experience to apply for this job. Experience in teaching UK curriculum is essential for this position.
The international school is currently catering for over 800 students from Year 1 to Year 11, aged 5-16 comprised of 5% expatriate students and 95% non-expatriate students. There are also over 80 academic staff mixed with 80% of non-expatriates and 20% expatriates. The principal of the school is from the UK and most of the international teachers are UK trained too.
This international school follows the UK and Wales national curriculum, and continuing professional development is provided for all staff to ensure their success and promote the high quality of learning.
Duties and responsibilities:
*Plan, prepare and deliver lessons to students up to Key Stage 4
*Evaluate, assess and record students’ learning progress and achievement
*Prepare students for performances concerts, competitions and examinations
*Maintain classroom discipline
*Ensure the syllabus is up to date
*Set clear target for individual students
*Aware of the individual needs of students
*Communicate with parents regarding their children’s learning progress
*Participate in parent’s meetings
*Participate in school meetings
*Participate in professional development training
Malaysia has 2 separate lands - the peninsula and the east Malaysia. Both of them have different culture and ethnic with Malay, Chinese and Indian.
