Our client is one of the popular international Early Childhood/ Primary schools in the wonderful city in China. The school is an IB candidate school offers PYP curriculum to students from 2.5 – 11 years old. The school is currently looking for an EAL teacher to join its team and start IMMEDIATELY.
You will need to be a degree holder with TEFL 120 hours certificate and ideally with experience of teaching students whose English is not their first language.
Role and responsibilities:
*Implement the EYFS EAL curriculum as appropriate to the needs of the students and follow school policies and guidelines
*Plan lessons daily
*Prepare educational materials for lessons
*Ensure all students are supervised and assisted within the school at all time
*Maintain good order and discipline in the classroom
*Ensure resources are adequate and appropriate
*Participate in parents and school meetings
*Participate in professional development activities
You will also need to be:
**A native speaker from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, UK or US
**Bachelor Degree holder + TEFL
**Experience of working with young children is beneficial but not essential as the school provide training to all staff
**Ideally 2 years teaching experience in Early Childhood
