SeekTeachers is recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary History teachers on behalf of our client based in Malaysia for January 2015. This private international school follows UK national curriculum for students from Key Stage 1 to 4 ageing between 5-16 years old.
Qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor Degree or above in History
- Teaching Qualification (PGCE/ PGDE/ QTS/ GDT/ Teaching License)
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Humanities
- Excellent knowledge of UK curriculum
- International experience is preferable but not essential
- Native English speaker
- Flexible and adapt to new culture
Key responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare and deliver lessons students up to IGCSE
* Monitor, access and record students' learning progress
* Ensure lessons and syllabus are up to date
* Setting clear targets for students to achieve the best academic results
* Support and assist students in all areas of their work
* Maintain classroom discipline
* Participate in continuous professional development courses
* Participate in parents meetings
* Participate in department meetings

Salary package:
**Basic salary between RM6,000 to RM8,000
