What You’ll Do
- Deliver inspiring, skills-rich art lessons across Key Stage 3 / Middle School
- Encourage experimentation across drawing, painting, sculpture, digital media, mixed media, and contemporary practice
- Create a studio-style classroom environment that celebrates creativity and risk-taking
- Integrate art history and global perspectives into practical work
- Curate exhibitions, showcases, and collaborative installations
- Contribute to cross-curricular projects and whole-school creative initiatives
- Lead or support extracurricular activities such as art clubs, competitions, or public showcases
We’re seeking a teacher who:
*Holds a recognised teaching qualification and degree in Art, Fine Art, or a related field
*Has experience teaching middle school students (international experience welcomed)
*Is passionate about contemporary practice as well as foundational skills
*Can balance technical instruction with conceptual development
*Brings energy, warmth, and a strong sense of visual culture
*Is excited to contribute to a collaborative, globally minded staff team
*A teacher who sees the art room not just as a classroom — but as a creative hub.
