EAL Coordinator
ASAP start 
 
An established American curriculum school in Ras Al Khaimah (RAK), UAE, is seeking an experienced and passionate EAL (English as an Additional Language) Coordinator to join its team with immediate effect.
 
Role Overview
The EAL Coordinator will lead and manage the school’s EAL provision, ensuring that students whose first language is not English are effectively supported to access the American curriculum and achieve academic success.
 
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver high-quality EAL support across grade levels
- Assess English language proficiency and track student progress
- Develop and implement EAL programs, strategies, and resources
- Support classroom teachers with differentiation and inclusive practices
- Monitor and evaluate EAL teaching and learning outcomes
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress
-Maintain accurate records and reports in line with school requirements
 
Requirements
*Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or a related field
*Recognised EAL/ESL/TESOL qualification
*Previous experience teaching or coordinating EAL/ESL programs (preferably in an international or American curriculum school)
*Strong understanding of language acquisition and inclusive teaching strategies
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
*Ability to work with students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds
*Immediate availability preferred

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience:
5 Years

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary   AED (UAE Dirham) per month based on experience and qualification,
