We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Homeroom Teacher to join our Grade 2 team at a well-established international school in Kuwait. This position is ideal for educators who are passionate about nurturing the academic, social, and emotional development of young learners in a supportive and engaging classroom environment.
Role Overview
As a Grade 2 Homeroom Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver lessons across core subjects: English, Math, Science, and Social Studies
Create a welcoming and inclusive classroom atmosphere
Track student progress and provide consistent feedback and support
Communicate regularly with parents and collaborate with colleagues and school leaders
Engage in school life, events, and ongoing professional development
Candidate Profile
Essential:
Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education or a related field
Valid teaching certification or license (REQUIRED)
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience (preferably in a homeroom or lower primary role)
Fluent English speaker (instruction is in English)
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Willingness to relocate and adapt to life in Kuwait
Preferred:
Experience in international or British curriculum schools
Familiarity with the UK National Curriculum or similar frameworks
First Aid/CPR certification
