We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Elementary Teacher to join our American curriculum school in Kuwait. This role is perfect for educators who are passionate about student-centered learning and committed to creating engaging, inclusive classroom environments that support every child’s growth.
Role Overview
As an Elementary Teacher, you will:
Teach core subjects including English Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies
Deliver lessons aligned with American curriculum standards and educational best practices
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture that supports diverse learning styles
Monitor and assess student progress to inform instruction
Communicate regularly with parents, colleagues, and school leadership
Take part in school activities, team planning, and professional development initiatives
Candidate Profile
Essential:
Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education or a related field
Valid teaching certification or license (REQUIRED)
Minimum 2 years of classroom teaching experience (preferably in Grades 1–5)
Strong knowledge of the American curriculum (Common Core or similar)
Native or fluent English speaker
Effective classroom management and interpersonal skills
Willingness to relocate and adapt to life in Kuwait
Preferred:
Experience in international or American curriculum schools
Familiarity with educational technology tools and differentiation strategies
First Aid/CPR certification
