Kindergarten (KG) Teacher – IB School

Position Overview:
Our reputable IB school in Sharjah is seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and experienced Kindergarten (KG) teacher to join their Early Years team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood education, committed to inquiry-based learning, and capable of fostering a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons in line with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) framework.
- Support young learners' academic, social, emotional, and physical development through play-based and inquiry-led learning.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and caring classroom that encourages curiosity and exploration.
- Communicate effectively with parents and contribute to school events and the wider school community.
- Collaborate with colleagues on planning, assessment, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
*Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (mandatory).
*Teaching qualification (e.g. B.Ed. in Early Years or equivalent).
*Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching KG or early years (IB PYP experience is an advantage).
*Excellent communication skills in English.
*Passionate about child-centred learning and the principles of the IB.
*Culturally aware and open-minded, with a collaborative approach.
