 Guidance Counselor – Kuwait | August 2025 Start

Position: School Guidance Counselor
Location: Kuwait
Start Date: August 2025
Salary: 900 – 1200 KD/month (tax-free)

Your Role as Guidance Counselor

  • Provide emotional, social, and behavioral support for students across middle and high school

  • Deliver individual and group counseling sessions

  • Promote a positive, inclusive school climate focused on wellbeing and respect

  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to support student development

  • Assist in early intervention and student monitoring systems

  • Deliver workshops on topics like stress management, conflict resolution, self-esteem, and resilience

  • Refer students to outside professionals when necessary and maintain accurate records

Who We’re Looking For

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred)

  • Recognized counseling certification or license

  • At least 2 years of experience in a school counseling role

  • Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills

  • A student-centered, culturally sensitive approach

  • Familiarity with international school environments is an advantage
