Responsibilities:
- Develop engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum objectives for effective English language instruction.
- Cultivate a supportive classroom atmosphere conducive to active learning.
- Employ interactive teaching methods such as group work, discussions, debates, and multimedia resources.
- Provide personalized attention and support to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Assess student progress regularly through assignments, tests, projects, and presentations.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student performance.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- TEFL/TESOL certification or equivalent (CELTA/DELTA preferred).
- Experience teaching English as a second language at the high school level.
- Strong grasp of English grammar rules and language acquisition principles.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues.
- Cultural sensitivity, with an understanding of Chinese culture preferred.
