Teach in Spain | August 2019 start | Excellent school in Barcelona
I am looking for a qualified and experienced teacher of ICT and Computing to join August 2019. My client is an IB school with a very open and relaxed teaching environment. There are about 600 students in the school and it is located about 10 minutes from Barcelona airport.
Teachers are from both Spain and the other countries in the EU. The working hours from 9-5 and the lesson structure is being reformed to be 2 hour lessons with a more relaxed and more nurturing knowledge approach.
As a teacher of ICT, you will be required to have knowledge of the software and computer programming languages. You may also be involved in STEM/STEAM in the school
Requirements to apply
**Degree in ICT or Computing
**A PGCE in ICT or similar teaching qualification
**MUST be able to work in the EU (the school does not provide a visa for non-EU nationals)
**Excellent written and spoken English
**Up to date in teaching pedagogy
If you already have Spanish work permit it will be helpful but not mandatory as the school can apply for that upon arrival.
**30,000 - 35,000 Euros per annum GROSS
**Breakfast and Lunch provided
**Scope for career progression.
Housing is not provided but the school can provide support in finding housing around the area. The school does provide IB training and CPD for you to progress your career also.
