This international school based fairly central of Dubai is looking for a Chemistry Teacher to start September 2012. This school is very international delivering the UK curriculum to students aged 3-18 with IBDP being delivered at the upper age students.
 
The school has about 50 different nationalities and is a very vibrant place to be. Teachers are from the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, USA and Canada.  The ideal candidate will be required to do the following:
 
**Create engaging lesson plans that adhere to the school policy and framework
**Create differentiated lessons that also cater for students where English is not the first language
**Be up to date with modern teaching methodologies
**Be strong in Assessment for Learning (AfL) and APP
**Supervise student’s laboratory work
**Create resources/materials for lab practical’s
**Create a safe learning environment for students
**Help prepare schemes of work and examinations
**Maintain student records and attainment
 
The school is very well facilitated with swimming pools, sports fields, tennis courts and the classroom are well resourced and colourful with projectors or smart boards.  There is a good expat community at the school so there is plenty of chance to mingle and network with others.
 
Dubai is a very busy place with lots to do after the working day is over. Whether you are into water sports or want to go for a quiet swim, there is always something happening.  Dubai is the first of the Emirates to launch out in the gulf and put this small but luxurious country on the world map with the Palm Island.  This is a great opportunity to teach overseas and start in the fabulous haven of Dubai.

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience:
2 Years
Type of Staff:

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Newly Qualified Teachers are NOT considered
Prefer candidates with international experience
Open University qualification(s) are NOT accepted
Additional:
**The degree MUST be in Chemistry/Science
**Experience of working in the Middle East is beneficial
**Being able to offer a secondary subject is beneficial
**Singles or teaching couples with NO children are preferred

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 9000 up to 11500   AED (UAE Dirham) per month based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE
