Requirements for an EAL Teacher

Bachelors Degree

Teaching qualification

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience

The ability to live abroad for a year

Job Description of an English Teacher:

Teach a full course load, serve as an advisor, and satisfy extracurricular (activity/athletic)
-
responsibilities as defined by the administration.

Plan, prepare, and teach well-developed lessons which enthuse and inspire students, and

promote the enjoyment of learning.

Effectively and appropriately differentiate instruction so as to meet all students’ learning

styles with an appreciation for students’ learning differences.

Select and sequence appropriate materials, resources, and approaches according to the

course/content area and audience of learners.

Assess, track, and provide relevant and timely feed

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Newly Qualified Teachers are NOT considered
A Newly Qualified Teachers program is provided
Prefer candidates with international experience
Open University qualification(s) are accepted
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have international education experience international educational institute before are accepted
Remuneration Package
Salary Range:
A salary from 20,000 up to 25,000
CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) per month
based on experience and qualification,
15-20% Tax is applied
Housing:
