Job Description of a Music Teacher:
-
Create a positive, stimulating and innovative environment for learning. Maintain a well-organized classroom with appropriate displays, resource areas and materials.

Plan and implement a curriculum to meet the needs of all pupils in the class and develop personal and social aspects of learning.

Develop effective ways of overcoming barriers to learning and sustain effective teaching through the assessment of learning.
-
To keep under review the methods of planning and delivery of the curriculum, recording pupils’ progress and make any required assessments.

To monitor and report the quality of pupil attainment to the Executive Principal/Head of School and governing body.
Requirements for a Music Teacher:

Bachelor’s degree in education/relevant subject
-
MUST BE Ontario Certified or able to get an OCT certification
-
Min of two-year teaching experience
-
Flexible to adapt to new culture
-
Native English speaker

Newly Qualified Teachers are NOT considered
A Newly Qualified Teachers program is provided
Prefer candidates with international experience
Open University qualification(s) are accepted
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have international education experience international educational institute before are accepted
Remuneration Package
Salary Range:
A salary from 40,000 up to 40,000
USD (U.S. Dollar) per month
based on experience and qualification,
10-20% Tax is applied
